Today we are totally dependent on vehicles to go anywhere even if we want to go nearby. This dependency is making the generation more inactive and sluggish which also affects the overall health of a person. In the old days, people use to walk or use the cycle to travel at least from 5-10 km a day.

Taking a walk a day is kind of like that proverbial apple to keep the doctor away. Walking is very good for health which is completely neglected these days by teenagers as well as young adults.

It’s also the trend of showing off; where you’re value is calculated with your assets, cars and other materialistic things. Status consciousness is a big deal nowadays. We forget how great this exercise is, which also helps in toning up your legs, and shed extra weight and doesn’t need you to have an exclusive gym membership. A person should at least walk for an hour a day to keep the body fit.
